End of Days, Deceptions

PREFACE: I had this dream on New Year's Eve night, 2004, the next day waking into New Year's Day, 2005. The names have been changed, so as to not misguide the reader into becoming caught up in specific people (as those in this particular dream just represented fellow Christians in my life at that time), but to rather understand that God uses ALL of His children...FOR His glory. This was the first dream I ever had that was 'corporate.' Although there are parts in this dream that are specifically for me (my feelings/fears/weaknesses revealed), the essence of this dream was ALSO corporate and is beneficial for the entire Body of Christ, especially those in these End Days.

Theme: The underlying theme of the dream is a call for ALL Christians to be made aware NOT to slumber...but to be watchful, alert, and BATTLING at ALL times, regardless of our stations in life, so as NOT to be deceived. How do we do this? KNOWING the LIVING Word of God (The Holy Bible) and using it, Worshipping our Father in Heaven, and Praying without ceasing (praying throughout our days and nights (even while dreaming when He brings you there) as the Lord prompts it.


DREAM:

Part 1: The dream started off with me facing a group of demons that were coming towards me. I started off by rebuking them in the 'name of Jesus' over and over, whereas they would turn away for a short while and keep their distance but would return soon after. More and more started coming and there were too many for me to deal with on my own so I started to run for help. I was running in a gray concrete apartment complex with many levels whose doors all faced an inner court yard. I was on a higher level, not sure which, with a railing on it. I stopped at a door and knocked while the demons were behind me. "Jane" from church opened the door and immediately assessed the situation without me even saying a word and started rebuking them with specific scripture ,with force, but calmly and almost nonchalantly, as if not fazed by this situation. As she was doing this, the Lord was revealing to me that, "His Word, and knowledge of, was the stronger weapon that I needed, opposed to just rebuking." I then started to speak scripture I knew, and some, that I can't even recall or know that I even knew (completely spirit led). We continued to walk around and speak while others from the church joined in like the "Smith's"("Kathy" specifically with her baby in her arms) and so on. I didn't see any of these people other than Jane. I just knew that their presence was there with us. I also was aware of other presences from the church with us, although no names or faces, just a group.

Part 2: The next scene was inside of a luxurious resort type of place with many rooms, levels, and stairs. Almost labrynth like in nature because there were no railings to keep you from falling onto the floors and levels of rooms and stairs below or above you. I couldn't help but notice how beautiful the place was and how much decoration there was. On almost all the tables, dressors, cabinets. etc., there were pieces of fine art, antiques, sculptures, florage, etc. I was taken in by it all. I also noticed openings to the outside, although I never looked outside and saw it, I just knew because of the soft breeze and warm sunshine that was streaming in from all over. Like a resort that is covered and opened to the outside.

While I was taking this all in I noticed that all of us (the church members) were still in the middle of a battle with these demons. One thing in particular I noticed, was how these demons almost looked like everyday people, but extremely gorgeous and 'super model' like in nature. (this specific detail stuck out to me, because all of my dreams prior with demons, they were always grotesque in physique). However, they still had a 'vampire-like' nature that told you different. I believe there were both male and female demons, but I did notice more of a female presence.

While we were speaking scripture to them, (and now personal praises glorifying God) I noticed a large vase-like container(3-4ft high) with large pieces of wood(6-7ft tall) in them with the sharp points all facing down in the vase. They looked like over-sized splinters with unfinished wood on the outside, dark chocolate brown in color with a blunt sawed off end on the top side. I immediately grabbed one of them out without even knowing what I was going to do with it and jabbed it into the heart of one of the female demons. She had long flowing hair and was wearing bright colors, maybe heavy jewerly around her neck. As I did this, I had quit speaking scripture and was now in physical contact and moving at a rapid speed. All of us then started using these splinter things to battle with. We never swung, only pierced hearts and then ultimately.... faces. I started to freak out when I first pierced a face because it felt like I had lost control or stepped down to their level. Like I was fighting out of my own fear and flesh and had forgotten that it was only God's Words and prayers that would work, when God revealed to me that, "this was what His Holy scripture was doing to them in reality," not me.

Part 3: The third scene was a glimpse of a food court in a mall. Nothing specific from the surroundings were shown, other than the average american mall food court that seems to be universal. Within the view of the mass of crowded people sitting down eating and walking about, was an instant view of a 'nerdy' white man in his 30-40's with a balding head... skinny, bottle-capped glasses, wearing a white short sleeved business shirt and black tie, eating food by himself. We (the church group fighting) stopped because of this transport to another realm and watched the scene that took place. (It was like a 'vision' we were watching, we weren't in the food court with them).

As this man was eating his food a gorgeous, slinky-looking woman in a long red dress and dark hair sat down in front of him with her body slouched over the table towards him, with her legs crossed, playing with/twirling her necklace. We couldn't hear what was being said by her, but she was obviously flattering the man and laughing with him because he was blushing and smiling. We as a group, knew thet something was suspicious with this picture (first-off, because she didn't fit the image of the food court, it was almost as if no one else in the mall was aware of her because either there were too many people around or because she wasn't really there, only to this man).

At that moment, the Lord revealed to us that, "that was the devil himself in human form on the earth." We were all shocked and kind of taken back that it was a woman. Not only that, but that he, the devil, was taking on that specific role on earth, rather than using a demon to do the work. We were all in a somewhat state of shock watching, and wondering why he (the devil) would place himself, in our view, in a somewhat vulnerable position. In answer to our comments and concerns, God at that moment then said that, "He is recruiting his army." We were still shocked because we were thinking his 'army' were his demons, not human beings on earth. We were all feeling a sense of urgency at that moment. As soon as God said that, the picture vanished, and we were back fighting in the 'resort place'.

Part 4: As we continued to fight, (note: the fighting was individual from the beginning as soon as we entered the resort the first time, I didn't see others fight, only out of the corner of my eye I knew they were), a hush kind of fell and in walked the devil himself wearing all black garb, pants, top, covered all except his hands and head. He was very good-looking with a little longer than shoulder length, slightly curled, flowing black hair that flew behind him as he entered the place that the battle was taking place in. I was immediatly seized with a since of fear (not sure what the others were feeling), that this battle was too big for me and maybe I needed to run when the Lord told me that, "this was what it is all about and to not fear because death can't take me from Him." I was kind of crying and shouted out to God that ,"Ok, it would be an honor to die for you Lord this way even though I can't do much for you!" And in my eyes, I comically picked up the gigantic splinter and yelled at the top of my lungs running full force toward the devil ready to spear him. As soon as I took on this stance and had spoken those words to God, I was now fighting both the devel and the demons with no fear of death (we all were) while instantly covering our back, I didn't see, but felt the presence of angels protecting us and fighting from behind on all sides of the areas we could not see.

As the battle lingered on throughout the night (my night dreaming), we found that the devil was a shrewd fighter, and we would tend to lose place of him, like the resort we were in was kind of his own. He knew where to hide. At times he would fight us, at others he would laugh and joke with us and say, "hold on a second, we need to move this dressor over to the other room so we will have more room and not bump into things." We started to help him move things over, while our group tended to disburse and go get a drink of water, etc., taking a break in other words. It was rather as if we were little kids 'play fighting' and 'taking a break' for cookies, forgetting that we were indeed, enemies. He kept asking questions about us personally, like he cared, and in order not to 'be rude' we would answer. Things like the weather, etc. to distract us. After a while, we were almost in a daze thinking and feeling things like, "we look like idiots fighting! He's not that bad!" Then, we'd realize the deception and continue the fight.(Also, the group had dwindled down a bit in size by the last fighting scene).

Part 5: It felt like a long period of time had passed and we had all had enough practice and learning that we now fought like "Lord of the Rings" characters. We could now fly, we had speed, and our weapons were all unique and special. I remember mine was like a long thin silver metallic spear that I could throw at amazing speed and accuracy while I flew at the same time without fear. As I was throwing my spear and following it to see where it went, I left the resort place and found myself hovering above a large courtyard that was identical to the "Harry Potter" school castle/courtyard, etc. I looked down and noticed large lines of children between the ages of approx. 10-14yrs, not sure if they all were, but for the most part. They were marching in lines wearing black robes with hoods and were practicing their weapons, sorcery, magic, etc. I remember them being interested in my spear and were taunting me to see what it could do, as they wanted to show-off their magic they could do. I was wondering who they were and what they were doing when the Lord revealed to me that, "this was the Devil's army who were preparing for their own war like we were." Then I woke up.

INTERPRETATION: Many things in this dream are made clear by God's direction and voice within it. However, there are other things to point out.


Key Point: Our knowledge/memorization of, the Word of God (the Bible & scripture within) IS our weapon. It is powerful, and as revealed by the dream, it is the best weapon we could possibly have. That, and the praise and worship of our God, as the dream reveals we Christians did during our battling of the enemy.

Part 1 Interpretation: Spiritual warfare is more than just 'rebuking' in the name of Jesus. Whereas there IS power in this, and ALL spirits, whether good or evil, WILL obey and respond to the power in the name of Jesus, it's just that, the POWER, whose authority flows through us as Christians BY the blood of Christ Himself, at whose name,

"...God elevated... to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Phillipians 2:9-11

Through Christ's power IN us as Christians, His authority reigns out of us, especially through the words of Holy Scripture. Holy Scripture, the Word of God, that even Jesus himself used when in warfare with the enemy;

"Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say,‘People do not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’” Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’” Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say,‘You must worship the Lord your God
and serve only him.’” Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus."Mathew 4:1-11


(Note to reader: Just a reminder that this is SPIRITUAL warfare, and not FLESH warfare, as Ephesians 6:12 states, "For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." This is to reiterate and to warn that 'verbal' use of Holy Scripture towards another human as 'warfare' can be a manipulation of the Word of God (a form of witch craft), as spoken scripture has MORE to do with the SPIRIT behind it, and not the religious legalistic abuse of the TRUTH. Be careful and seek for wisdom when being led by the Word of God, as it's use and intent is Holy, and not for self gratification and power.)

Part 2 Interpretation:
The beautiful resort place this battle takes place in symbolizes the 'world' and the distractions within; noted by all the decor, and 'resortness' of it. We must remember we are in a fallen world and the devil, desiring to 'be like God,' has also chosen this fallen earth as a place to roam and inhabit, and even give false authority over, desiring to even 'tempt Jesus' with all the Kingdoms of the earth (as noted in the above Ch.4 Mathew scripture), that are truly NOT his to give. Also important, is to not be distracted by the comforts of this life that may cause us to slumber. As lovely as they seem, they are 'faux.' And as I tend to call it, a 'paper mache' world, that has a false facade, whose comforts and 'goodness' only give a WHISPER towards Heavens realities. And in fact, whose cheap and sheer exterior, can be poked, broken through, knocked down, and ignited in flames, as it's truly a fallen world. There will be a time when we will receive TRUE comforts when we are in Heaven with our Lord, and when our New earth and Heaven will be revealed.

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband."Revelation 21:1-2

“Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth,and no one will even think about the old ones anymore." Isaiah 65:17

I realize the next part of this scene, in part 2 of the dream, where we as Christians pick up the wooden spikes of wood to stab into the faces of the demons might make some of you uncomfortable, possibly very uncomfortable. But it's important to remember that WAR is uncomfortable. It's not pretty. If you are unsure of why war/battles/and the like are needed, or why God has allowed them, then it's important for you to study the Old Testament and to get acquainted with the book of Revelations in the New Testament. An example from the Old Testament is Jael, from the book of Judges,

“Most blessed among women is Jael,
the wife of Heber the Kenite.
May she be blessed above all women who live in tents.
Sisera asked for water,
and she gave him milk.
In a bowl fit for nobles,
she brought him yogurt.
Then with her left hand she reached for a tent peg,
and with her right hand for the workman’s hammer.
She struck Sisera with the hammer, crushing his head.
With a shattering blow, she pierced his temples.
He sank, he fell,
he lay still at her feet.
And where he sank,
there he died." Judges 5:24-27

More importantly, think of the image of Christ's return as noted in the book of Revelations from the New Testament (where the battle is spiritual),

"He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance." Revelations 1:16

"Repent of your sin, or I will come to you suddenly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth." Revelations 2:16

"Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies." Revelation 19:21

"From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress." Revelation 19:15

And in Hebrews 4:12 we find the deeper meaning of the 'sword', "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

*(Also noted about this specific weapon used; it was organic and raw in it's form, and made of brown wood (wood: eternal, building spiritual things, growth, structure, strength, and brown: born again, repented, new life, renewed mind)......which tends to make me think about our beginnning use of prayer and knowledge of the Word when new Christians....although I'd been saved for 5-6yrs at the time of this dream, I was still growing in the Word, learning the Word, and learning to be Holy Spirit led in prayer, and holding this 'weapon' was awkward....yet, it was STILL powerful....(BTW- I STILL AM ever growing and learning ;D ).....God only desires a ready vessel with a willing heart and spirit, not OUR knowledge, nor OUR works....as only HIS are eternal.)

Part 3 Interpretation:
"Revealing the enemy"... the part about the devil taking on a role himself on earth (not his only role, this was just the only one the Lord revealed in this particular dream), as that slinky woman in the food court enticing the man...someone spoke to me about this part of the dream stating that they believed it to be 'pornography' on the internet (if you remember, the man in the food court was sitting by himself at a table 'conversing/interacting' w/an unseen woman; possible pornography on a laptop)...that disturbs me...that the enemy HIMSELF would use it as a tool to 'recruit his army'...basically....I powerful tool (note: I personally believe the internet is a useful tool, we only need to be wise in how we handle it, like all freedoms). There are many reasons why I abhore sexual sin, but the one that alerts me in this particular element, is the secrecy of it...the shame, the seclusion, the isolation, the hiddeness of it to every individual involved within it...sin births secrecy, secrecy births shame, shame births deception, deceptions births fall...right into the hands of the enemy.

(And the man in the food court 'conversing with this seductive and charming, flattering woman' (that the enemy is disguised as), represents an average middle aged male. Unhappy, possibly discontented with life, lonely, and isolated....(note: not that someone of a different age/race/gender can't fall into sin on the internet, but that possibly the greatest recruitment right now is that demographic).

And why is the devil recruiting an army? And can they really be human?

"When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves." Revelations 20:7-9

"And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelations 12:17

Part 4 Interpretation:
What was interesting during the beginning part of this scene, was that we were all 'individually' fighting at this point, basically like real life. Yes, we are a BODY of believers, APART of the Body of Christ, who at times come together CORPORATELY or rather, PHYSICALLY for worship, teaching, and prayer, but most often, our walks with the Lord are INDIVIDUAL and we all have individual callings, and therefor battle individually as well, withIN the Body of Christ (just as this part of the dream revealed some of MY carnal fear and insecurities with spiritual battles...also important to mention, that I am NOT to battle satan one on one like I had first believed the Lord had called me to do in the dream when I ran at satan with my spear...when in REALITY, (as was revealed) the Lord Himself, and the angelic presence covering all of our sides and backs are who help us alongside this battle of life, including the fight with darkness...it is not OUR fight, but the Lords, and we are His beloved servants that are ONLY called to be obedient to our callings and stations in this life, as we love our Heavenly Father and walk hand in hand with our Lord. Take heart, beloved! We are NOT to fear, for the battle is the LORDS.)

HOWEVER-also noted at the END of this scene, is that "the group size had dwindled down a bit." Is this because we were TOO isolated in our fighting? Did some of us 'stray' too far and therfor were unprotected, like a sheep who strays from the pasture? Or, as end times scripture mentions,

"Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?” Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come. Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved." Mathew 24:3-13


Also noted about the enemies character; the devil was coy, charming, fast, quick-witted....very disarming to Christians who think of evil as single faceted. It's important to be aware of the enemies favorite game of 'smoke and mirrors,' to try and be multi-faceted like our God. But his is counterfit...a deception...not the REAL thing. By being polite, he threw Christians off because we weren't expecting it and we didn't want to 'offend'... so we answered his questions, we conversed...we allowed him to share his thoughts with us-just like many of us do when under condemnation, or when distracted from the TRUTH. Allowing him a 'foothold' to distract us during the battle, and at times, even becoming confused at to what we were even doing here...and at other times, believing we were working together as a team WITH the enemy...as the 'let US move this dressor over here to make more room' talk with the enemy revealed....so important to always remember we are IN a battle. Not in the future, NOW!

DO NOT be distracted by the enemy's covering of deceptive charm and allure...this can be seen in many things throughout history and the world...i.e., religions that resemble our own, but are NOT fully biblical. That is...things that 'look good,' 'feel right,' and 'SEEM biblical,' but when in fact held next to the letter of the Law....held up against Holy scripture, it doesn't match. The character of a belief NOT matching the character of our God. Who IS who He says He is, Who can DO what He says He can do, and Who IS the Great 'I AM.'

Not believing every word of the bible to be God ordained and breathed as 100% truth...not 99%, etc., (leaving room for your own 'feel good' beliefs-allows the enemy to come alongside of the Lord's truth...'to be like God.' )...should be an alert to you that something if OFF. Not all of the enemy's plans are revealed to us, but thankfully-they are to the Lord. The enemy loves to disguise himself as a 'gentleman.' He also disguises this allure among philosophy, liberalism (sounds right and good), and many other things. The RED FLAG you should receive by this, is that when something 'sounds like truth and good' but is NOT 100% biblical, then beware of the enemies schemes 'to be like God.' His whole reason from being thrown down from Heaven by God.

And He(Jesus) said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven." Luke 10:18

"And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time." Revelations 20:1-3


Part 5, Interpretation:

The devil's army....important to remember that not just demons encamp his army-but, humans. And although anyone at any age can be recruited into his army, in this particular dream the Lord spoke about this specific generation now, in their youth (and with this dream taking place New Year's Eve night, 2004, that would make this group of youth all in their 20's by 2014 if the date of this dream was to be taken literally at face value)...not saying that I believe it to be only 'this generation,' it might just be symbolic, that throughout all generations-this is the time our core thinking/believing truly takes root. Beginning around this age, (10-14) young adults, venturing out into adulthood... begin to seperate from their parents thinking and/or beliefs and grab onto something as their own. It is essential that we pray for and are aware of our youth and chldren.

Also noted in part 5...as we 'practiced' our weapons (spending time with the Lord, studying scripture, memorizing it, praying it out loud, worshipping our Lord, etc.) we are REFINING them....I find it interesting that my weapon was a long thin silver spear by the end of this dream instead of the big heavy wooden spear I began with. I have to confess, that I have to DAILY look up scripture to get it's full wording because I struggle with memorization of it. I get 'bits and pieces' but never the full lot. At first I was frustrated with this, as the long wooden 'unrefined' fat splinter spear held clumsily in my hands to attack the enemy, feels 'at home' for me-lol! HOWEVER...God is good! It looks like as time proceeds, and as I continue to walk with the Lord and allow Him to refine me, my weapon becomes the long thin spear that is shot with amazing speed and accuracy (that is, 'scripture' is shot out with amazing speed and accuracy...and 'silver' means; redemption, knowledge of God, and revelation)...

So be encouraged, and keep close to the Lord daily and nightly, as he continues to refine you!

The Armor of God

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."
