Power and Authority

PLEASE check this video out if you have a chance, of John Paul Jackson talking about a dream he had about the church and the confusion it has with Power and Authority. This is a big stumbling block for many Christians, (I believe not only those IN the church hungry for power and authority, but for those OUT of the church who are isolated on their own because they were not given the power and authority they wanted), and it needs to be repented of. I pray for a FRESH release of authority, of the Spirit of God, and NOT of man's flesh, so that, we would not be a hinderance to the Holy Spirit.

Wow...this is an actual area the Lord has been working out within me this past season. The word 'authority' has kept coming up to me in my walk this past year, that the Lord is prompting me to step out with Him in. However, my 'flesh' has at times stumbled in this arena by trying to DO it for God (believing that's what the Lord wanted me to do) and instead...it came out as 'fleshy' power, NOT God's Holy presence within me. I've repented, and I'm getting back up again, wiping my knees off, and grabbing back onto His hand as He continues to grow me in this realm.

I pray you do to....that is, NOT give up. And trust Him where he leads you in your walk with Him.

*Also noted, I picked up on John Paul Jackson using the terminology "a spokesman of the Lord, an angel I believe," speaking to him in his dreams. I'm going to pray about this and see how the Lord would have me write my dreams and speak about them. As when I've heard an actual voice speaking to me in my dreams describing what's happening audibly, I've always assumed it was the Lord...and it is...but it is most probably His Spirit, coming through a 'spokesman/angel/Holy Spirit' speaking to me, rather than His actual audible voice.
